About Us

This event is a special opportunity once a year for the public to learn about the firearms in history. Pieces represent a period of time spanning 150 years from the 1800’s to modern day.  Participants are extremely knowledgeable and more than eager to

share their knowledge and history of their firearms.  Our Participants travel from all across the U.S. to Join us and

shoot their firearms and artillery pieces on the beautiful Garret Ranch 30 miles south of Casper, WY.  Each day our blasting crew will set reactive targets throughout the day during cease fires and for our Nightly Mad minute tracer shoot, not to mention the Aerial target that are flown throughout the day.  Other targets include 55 gal drums, wire spools, fire extinguishers, propane tanks and the occasional kitchen appliance.  Our range has fixed targets out to one mile, this is always fun to watch the 50cal shooters use there tracer and incendiary rounds on.  We also accommodate one of the rarest artillery pieces in the united states, from what Dean has told us there are only a hand full of these 90mm anti tank gun left in civilian hands.  spectators are encourage to check it out, ask questions, and even send a round down range!  Any bowlers in the crowd, is what will be herd over the loud speakers before Tim and Brian light the fuze on the only bowling ball mortar we have ever seen that can send your average bowling ball several thousands of feet in the air and a thousand yards down range. last checked the record for hang time in the air is just over 20 seconds!

We would also like to recognize our supporter.

The Garret ranch CO.

We cant say enough about Pete and his family who host the shoot year after year.  We love spending time on the ranch its a small piece of heaven.

Superior signs and supply of Casper

has been with us from the start, making all of our signs and banners for the shoot. Frank and his crew are the best in the business and are always willing to help out anyway they can.

Moser engine service now know as Moser energy systems

has been with us from the start as well, providing us with cleanest and quietest gensets around. They power all of our sound equipment, food trucks and anything else we can think to plug in.

Blakeman Propane

another one that has been there from the start, who we can always count on to help out however they can.  They supply the fuel for the genset for the weekend. they also save up all the old propane tanks they can through out the year for us to use as targets.  Chad and his guys keep their tanks and delivery trucks looking good year round for their customers.

All Out Fire of Mills, Wy

keeps us fully stocked with old fire extinguishers to shoot at.  Last year they donated 200+ extinguishers!

Vigil trucking

Matt is all ways eager to supply the fuel for our pyrotechnics shenanigans we put on at the shoot.  Matt is also a Army veteran and always gets trigger time during Saturday nights mad minute tracer shoot.  He also enjoys shooting the Barret 107A1 at the mile target.

Bar Nnun Fire department.

The Department provides fire suppression and EMT services for the shoot each year.  Its always awesome to see their Military 5 ton brush trucks at the shoot.  Dave and his crews he brings out are top notch to work with!

We Thank all of our supporters!  And all of our volunteers!   With out them, the shoot would be near impossible to put on!
